CHAPTER 1: DESIGN SOLUTION

Ichiban Nursery, located in Abu Dhabi, UAE, was a kindergarten previously utilizing artificial turf for its outdoor area. The director, Ms. Rana, is a warm and compassionate educator with over 30 years of experience in early childhood education.

During our initial discussions, she expressed her desire to find high-quality materials for renovating the nursery, aiming to create a more engaging and colorful space that not only provides safety but also enhances fun for the children.

After fully understanding Ms. Rana's needs, Ms. Joyce, the General Manager of FieldsMaster, was touched by Ms. Rana's dedication and sense of responsibility. Together with her team, she developed a comprehensive solution.

· Thickness Selection:

Given that the children at Ichiban Nursery are very young, we emphasized the need for improved fall protection and shock absorption.

Ms. Rana mentioned that their staff is extremely vigilant about children's safety during outdoor activities.

Therefore, we recommended a thickness of 20mm, utilizing a base layer of highly elastic ETPU granules and a top layer of EPDM granules.

· Color Selection:

Ms. Rana provided her preferred color styles and a simple design layout for the space.

Based on her design, we proposed standard colors from FieldsMaster's 62-color palette that are less prone to yellowing. These colors, even when applied with MDI adhesive under high temperatures of up to 40 degrees Celsius, show minimal yellowing.

· Cost-Effective Solutions:

To help Ms. Rana save costs, we recommended the use of FM-PU 8004 aromatic binder. Its high strength ensures that when mixed with the recommended EPDM colors, the final surface will not exhibit significant darkening.

As a solution provider, it's crucial to recommend colors that closely align with the customer's preferred style, while also considering the potential for yellowing due to high temperatures and sunlight exposure.
